Además de las nominaciones de las pelÃculas de animación en sus premios más importantes, la pasada semana se conocieron ya los ganadores de otro sector del cine: los documentales.
La International Documentary Association entregó sus premios anuales, cuya lista podéis ver a continuación.
De cara a los Oscars 2008, de momento hay una shorlist con 15 documentales candidatos de los cuales 5 serán los nominados finales. Entre ellos se encuentran 3 de los 5 nominados finales en estos premios: Taxi to the Dark Side, Sicko y Operation Homecoming: Writing the Wartime Experience (no el ganador) y hay otros nominados en diferentes categorÃas.
En cuanto a los cortos documentales, en los Oscars 2008 los 23 iniciales se quedaron en 8 candidatos al Mejor Corto Documental de los que pueden ser 5, según la academia los nominados en la categorÃa. En este caso tampoco se encuentra el ganador entre esos posibles finalistas.
